CDL: The cost for obtaining your automatic transmission CDL at NALTC is $975 ($1,925-2025 cost). Please contact us for information concerning the manual transmission CDL option. Although obtaining your CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) is not required in order to graduate, North American Lineman Training Center highly recommends that you do so, as this will very much benefit you when applying for jobs.

Housing: If you are needing housing, the cost is $2,000 ($2,250-2025 cost) plus a $500 security deposit. See the school catalog or the enrollment package for details, as well as on this website.

For students receiving funding covering tuition and tools and equipment from WIOA, Vocational Rehabilitation Services or GI Bill®, NALTC will purchase their tools, equipment, and books, and then will get reimbursed by the funding agent.

North American Lineman Training Center is authorized for operation as a postsecondary education institution by the Tennessee Higher Education Commission.
